Reflection on the Bible Verse of the Day

Everyone has their own interpretation of what the verses mean...this is my understanding of them

1 Corinthians 4:5

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

We don't understand everything God has planned. It's easy to be judgemental about things going on around us. However, until God brings to light treasures that are hidden away, we should refrain from hasty judgments.

Psalm 25:22

Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

______________________________________________________

The land of Israel is in trouble right now.
Pray for Israel.

1 Corinthians 14:33

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Psalm 4:5

Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.

____________________________________________

Set your heart before your Creator and offer up repentence.

Read what Abraham was going to do to Isaac (Genesis 22:2-13). His faith did not waiver, nor did God dissapoint him. Can we honestly say that we put our trust in the LORD?

Today is a good day to start.

Galatians 6:10

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

___________________________________________________

Not only are you treat those of the household with kindness and respect but do good to your enemy too!

(Matthew 5:44-45 44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.)

Isaiah 43:25

I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

______________________________________________________--

Out of God's mercy does He forgive sins. We can't flatter ourselves by thinking it's something we've done to obtain His mercy. Thank Him often.

Matthew 15:9

But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

___________________________________________________

Be careful how you worship God. You need to seperate the doctrines of men and the doctrine of God. There are many wolves in sheeps clothing (Matt 7:15) and not all shepherds are from God (Isa 56:11).

Open your Bible, read, and STUDY. Don't depend on others to give you their interpretation without researching it yourself.

If you really care about your relationship with God...you will search the scriptures for Him.

(Hint: The scriptures contain both the OLD and the New Testement)
