James 3:10

Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

You must evaluate your relationship with God if you are praying for someone in one breath and cursing someone in another breath.

1 Samuel 17:37

David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

1 John 2:16

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Be conscious of where your heart is. It is easy to get caught up in a desire for people and/or things in our life. Just remember that life is but a twinkling of an eye to GOD. Enjoy what you've been given. It is enough.

1 Timothy 6:10

1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Don't think that having money and being happy can be compatible. Remember, money is not the root of the problem but the love of money that causes the problems.

Obsession with material things is wasting your love. Love GOD and His promises.

Matthew 6:24 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Mark 7:15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.
