James 2:26

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

If you can't show your faith by your works, what's that point?

Deuteronomy 16:22

Neither shalt thou set thee up any image; which the LORD thy God hateth.

Guard yourselves from any images you may place in place of God.

We need to thank God for His mercy or we would be as dust.

Luke 4:12

And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

We often tempt God by doing things we know better than to do but somehow justify the act to ourselves. Not a wise decision.

Psalm 38:18

For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
