Luke 15:4

What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

It's very important to God that none of His flock is lost. He will search for you. Listen for His call.

Jeremiah 7:23

But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

You can perform a reality check everytime you are tempted. Ask yourself, "Do I love God?" If you refrain from breaking His commandments, then you have proved your love for Him.

Never give up. Just try harder the next time you are tempted.

Proverbs 1:33

But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Make your sacrifice to God by giving your word to follow His instructions as He has given them. Then do as you say you will.
