It is so easy to attend a church, say mass or receive communion, participate in worship simply because we have learned to do so - from family or conversion. But it is much harder to put God at the very centre of our lives to inform all of our decisions and actions and treatment of others. Only when God is the axis upon which our soul turns do we honour Jesus with our hearts and minds and not merely our lips.
