I'm still not that familiar with the bible but I thought this was a great verse. I never realised there was a wording in the bible which basically summed up what everyone all throughout Anglican school and youth group had been trying to tell us; in short, "Do the right thing". Not sure if that's the correct interpretation but that's how I understood it.
Btw, sorry for remaining anonymous- I practice Christianity in an environment which may not look favourably upon it.

I think that God wants us to edify with our speech, the use of profanity and idle talk is just the opposite of that...
